Dawn Barclay is the consummate real estate agent. She is comprehensive and very knowledgeable and experienced in home sales. With her representation in the sale of my apartment, I was able to achieve excellent results. It sold in half the time expected, at a higher price than the comparables. At all times, she was professional, honest, direct, warm and easy to deal with. She was very attentive, responsive and returned my calls promptly. She helped get me through all elements of the sale and advised me on how to deal with the buyer’s broker and the buyer, who could be difficult at times. Because I was nervous and she wanted to give me support and advice if needed, she came and stayed for the entire closing, not just the end where the broker picks up her check as agents usually do. I would highly recommend her with no reservations or qualifications to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

After 4 years and 5 realtors, we finally found both the right realtor and subsequent buyer for our home. Each of our previous realtors had their strong suit but most were myopic in their approach, only focusing on one aspect or selling feature of our home. Our final agent and realtor, Dawn Barclay, had the most comprehensive approach and delivered the best results she did not focus on only one aspect of our sale but us as individuals. From the start she guided us through all facets of the sale, the purchase of our new, each financial obligation we needed to be cognizant of and thus the proper pricing of our new home to achieve the optimum results. She was quite attentive in addressing our concerns in both in price point and in presentation. Also, she respected us as individuals even though occasionally we’d deviate on viewpoints. Over the 4 years our house was listed and the significant amount of individuals visiting some eager to buy others either totally disinterested or casually occupying their afternoon sensing the market; our feedback was exceedingly limited with other agents though not with Dawn. She ensured feedback was obtained after each viewing and in a timely fashion.

As a rule, someone just doing their job wouldn’t warrant any endorsement from us; however, Dawn Barclay with her honest and bright, cheerful nature is such an individual worthy of our praise and we hope that should the need arise we’re able to garner her skills once again. Dawn Barclay was very knowledgeable about pricing our house for the market. She did her research, and helped us set a fair price ultimately leading to the sale of our house. We lived out-of-state, so Dawn had to handle all details of showing the house, contract signings, and settlement details. She took photos and made a portfolio for display in the house, as well as informative fliers for potential buyers with all necessary details of house specs, expenses such as taxes and utilities, etc.

Warm personality , professional and knows profession. I thought her presentation was excellent. I thought she was very honest and reliable. For example, there was some confusion about the closing date and thought it was on a certain date in August, but after we spoke by phone, the closing date was cleared up She said she was out of town at that time but willing to drive 3 hours to the closing site. How professional is that?!
